Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves is one of the rising NBA stars who is likely to become one of the NBA’s faces soon.
It is going to be quite hard for the league to pull this off since Edwards has such a nasty off-the-court battle going on. In his personal life, Edwards has been in the news lately for a not-great reason.
On March 31, a user on X took named @PrincessM___ posted a message about Edwards that said, Edwards “really told the judge he wanna pay the whole 18 years of child support upfront is absolutely insane he hates that girl omfg… like the WHOLE 18 years in 1 Payment?” and added that he wants it all to be “over with immediately…”
That one tweet started an insane rumor to take on a life of its own.
Anthony Edwards said absolutely nothing about it.
Edwards’ ex, Ayesha Howard, decided she couldn’t sit back and hear things about herself without responding.
“There are no court documents, motions, or proceedings that have occurred, nor have I been offered or agreed to such terms,” she said, per Brianne Deville of The Shade Room.
Howard also took to her Instagram Story to address the rumors, stating on there that they are “lies” and rumors.”
“Where do these lies be coming from,” she wrote on her Instagram Story, adding in another post, “You ever heard a rumour about yourself and actually wanted to hear more Like no way…… what did I do next?”

The 2024-25 NBA season is in the final stretch, and the standings continue to move.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are in sixth place in the Western Conference playoff race.
Entering play Thursday, the Timberwolves control the No. 6 seed in the West. They’re tied with the Clippers and Grizzlies, but they do own the tiebreaker, thanks to a better winning percentage in games against each other.
Anthony Edwards has his issues off the court with many different children and women, but his focus needs to be on the court.
Great play from him could help the team secure home-court advantage in the first round.
