Millbrook, Alabama – In a story that has tugged at the hearts of thousands, a couple from Alabama has found themselves in the fight of a lifetime—both diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, just days apart.
Wendy Wilson is no stranger to this disease. This is her fourth battle with cancer—having previously fought ovarian, cervical, and breast cancer. This time, it’s a return of her breast cancer.
But this time, she’s not fighting alone.
Her husband, Kevin Wilson, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. And just days after his diagnosis, Wendy received news that her own cancer had returned—and had spread to other parts of her body.
“I’m not done watching my kids grow up. I’m not done seeing them graduate and carry on our legacy,” Wendy said through tears. “That’s where my strength comes from.”
Their daughter, Savannah Wilson, is preparing to leave for military basic training this summer. Her heart is heavy as she prepares to part from her parents during such a critical time.
“They need all the help and support they can get right now,” Savannah said. “They really do.”
💔 A Double Blow – But Double the Strength
Two people. Two devastating diagnoses. One unbreakable bond. If anything, these hardships have made them even stronger—because they’re not facing it alone.
The Wilson family has started a GoFundMe page to help cover the overwhelming medical costs that insurance won’t pay for. But what they need most is prayers, support, and kindness from the community.
