Lisa LoCicero’s new film has begun production and her fans couldn’t be more thrilled, although hope she won’t leave GH for the movies.
Olivia Quartermaine hasn’t been very prominent on General Hospital lately. She’s been in more of a supporting role as crazy events have unfolded around her, including the startling revelation that Gio was the long-lost son of Dante and Brook Lynn. But that’s okay for Lisa LoCicero, who currently has bigger fish to fry with her new project. She recently had a major announcement about its progress and eagerly shared the news with her fans.
A Dream Team
Set to Paul McCartney’s instrumental piece, Valentine Day, LoCicero shared a behind-the-scenes video for her new film, Beginning Tomorrow, on Instagram. She captioned it, “First shoot day on Beginning Tomorrow! Thanks again to everyone who supported.. !! This team is a dream 🔥and as much as I love my Olivia Quartermaine, I’m so thrilled to take a little detour in a different medium…♥️♥️🦋”
Easton Rocket Sweda, who plays Olivia’s son Leo, commented, “That’s sooo cool! You’re awesome, Tom!” We assume ‘Tom’ is part of the production team, but LoCicero enthusiastically responded to him, “@easton.rocket.sweda miss you TON!! ❤️” Fans were worried that she might be leaving GH, but were also happy to see her spread her wings.

A Nice Change of Pace
Beginning Tomorrow is a film created by LoCicero and actor Jamison Jones that came to fruition because of their successful crowdfunding campaign. The story revolves around a couple that is struggling to reconnect and must reassess their past, present, and future in order to do so successfully. Jones commented, “Awesome! Thrilled to have you onboard. What a beautiful depth of emotion you bring to this role!!”
Filmmaker David Wain wrote, “Need to know much more about this!!” to which LoCicero hilariously replied, “@davidwain stop by! Hold a boom dude!🔥” And another fan had an insightful response with: “I can’t wait to see you perform as a different character! While I love Olivia, it is exciting to see actors I love in new roles. It renews the creative juices. I would think it would also keep your daytime role from becoming stale. ❤️” Locicero appreciatively responded, “So true!”
