Shouldn’t Nathan have more emotion about losing seven years of his life?
CommentsGeneral Hospital‘s Nathan seems pretty calm for a man who supposedly just lost seven years of his life. No matter who he really is, it doesn’t make much sense to fans.
Nathan Should Be Devastated
We do not know who this Nathan (Ryan Paevey) really is. He may somehow be Faison (ex-Anders Hove), or Peter (ex-Wes Ramsey), or someone else altogether. He could even be an altered version of himself. Another possibility is that he is back as Nathan with amnesia, with no memory of who he was or what he did while he was “dead”.
Whoever he may be, he doesn’t appear upset at all about his situation, which is odd. The man woke up, and seven years were lost. His beloved wife, Maxie (Kirsten Storms), is in a coma, she is in a relationship with Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), and he has a son who lived a large part of his childhood without him. That would traumatize anyone, but Nathan seems to be taking it all in stride.
Fans have taken note of this, but why haven’t any of Nathan’s family and friends?
But He’s Not Nathan
The powers that be have fans convinced that the guy in the hospital is not Maxie’s husband, and that may be the case. But wouldn’t someone pretending to be Nathan at least pretend to act like Nathan? He and Maxie were very much in love and expecting a baby before he was shot. His minimal reaction to hearing what had happened to her should have been an immediate red flag. Wouldn’t a husband ask to visit his wife?
James (Gary James Fuller) went to visit the dad he believed was dead, and there was barely any emotion from Nathan. Surprisingly, Maxie’s mom, Felicia (Kristina Wagner), hasn’t picked up on Nathan’s behavior because she was a private investigator for so long.
Many fans are hoping that this storyline doesn’t drag on too long, and we find out what the deal is with this Nathan.
