Chile! Nicki Minaj and SZA set the internet on fire on Tuesday (July 15) after trading spicy words on X, formerly Twitter. It all seemingly started with Nicki riling up her fanbase with posts about Terrence Henderson, also known as TDE Punch and SZA’s most recent manager. Amid her tweets about Punch, the ‘SOS’ singer posted about “mercury retrograde.” Nine words sent Minaj and the Barbz to the moon and back in heat—ready with insult after insult! Let’s get into what went down, roommies!

Rapper Said THIS About TDE Punch

On July 15, at 4:21 p.m. ET, Nicki Minaj tweeted about “a man from TDE who kept bullying” her on X “for no reason.” The rap icon said she has “the receipts” of the harassment, despite never responding to him. She did not include the alleged receipts in her posts.

After asking for his name in the same tweet, Minaj nicknamed him “Minus 30 million.” A few tweets and eight minutes later, she circled back to the TDE man, who turned out to be Terrence Henderson. She shared a photo of TDE Punch smiling, teasing him with the line “Me after I suck some good zik.” 

She added, “Guarantee you wouldn’t fight a man. We have every tweet of your incessant bullying, lying, & more. Your name was added to that shit list sh*tty drawers. Same thing that make you laugh make you…sh*t.”

Two minutes after those last words, Nicki Minaj kept going on TDE. In addition to being SZA’s manager, he is the president of Top Dawg Entertainment, Kendrick Lamar’s former label. In one post, Nicki wrote, “Tiny D*ck Executive.” In another, she threw shots at an unnamed person about “sitting in…doo-doo.” She then joked about the nickname using a Chucky meme. Nicki Minaj also suggested that TDE Punch allegedly bullied her because she rejected his business proposals.

What Was Said Between Nicki Minaj & SZA?

One hour after Nicki Minaj’s first tweet about TDE Punch, SZA shared a cryptic, nameless message. She wrote, “Mercury retrograde…don’t take the bait lol silly goose.” 15 minutes later, Nicki was on her top with insults, clapping back, “Go draw your freckles back on bookie. #JusticeForDemoree #DepositionPerez Liar liar pants on fire. Sounding like a fkng dead dog.”

Five minutes later, SZA responded, “I don’t give a f**k bout none of that weird sh*t you popping.” In a separate tweet, Nicki wrote:

 “B*tch looking & sounding like she got stung by a f**king bee. Dot dot dot *draws on my freckles.*

When an X user told SZA the Barbz would come for her, SZA brushed off the potential drags! She talked about being bullied online but then stepping on stage to perform for people who show her “real love, in real life.”

“My parents are healthy and I’m the most successful I ever been. GET SOME F**KING PERSPECTIVE n BACK AT THE WALL!!!”

At one point, she clarified that her mercury retrograde tweet was not to or about anyone. She said she had just gotten off stage after sharing the post, and Minaj mentioned her. “THE F**K YES I’M MAD NOW DO YOU NEED THAT!??,” she wrote. Eventually, SZA killed the back-and-forth with Nicki on her end. She wrote, “Lmao lemme go back to being calm, shy and meek. Y’all have a blessed night! See you tomorrow for night 2 Paris!!”

“Shutup ugly. #JusticeForDemoree I’m in a meeting so idk if u was still talking sh*t or not if you didn’t I’ll delete later. H*e,” Nicki Minaj responded to SZA.

But SZA took her own advice, and avoided the bait. Instead, in follow-up tweets, SZA boasted about the success of her solo tour ‘SOS’ and its accompanying album. “I’m really bout to have my first diamond album…in under 3 years. THANK YOU GOD AND THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR TAKING THIS JOURNEY WITH ME,” she captioned a retweet.
